Introduction

As an indie developer, I often run into a few questions:

  • How do I discover real user needs?
  • How do I understand existing products on the market and differentiate my own?
  • How do I anticipate the problems that may appear during development, launch, and operations, and solve them better?

To answer these questions, I read a large amount of information every day. In that process, I often come across interesting products, valuable insights, and useful documents. Since other indie developers may face the same problems, Nomoyu Daily for Indie Developers was born.

I chose daily publishing instead of weekly publishing because it provides information that is both more comprehensive and more time-sensitive. A weekly schedule would force me to filter a large amount of information more aggressively, which adds more subjectivity, risks missing important updates, and weakens timeliness. For indie developers who iterate quickly, timely access to information matters a lot, because different developers judge value differently, and their development process and product direction can shift fast. Learning about new developments earlier can prevent avoidable mistakes. That is why I decided to publish daily: to reduce the impact of my own subjective filtering and better meet indie developers’ need for information.

This project started on 2025-05-18 and is still in its early exploratory stage. If you have any suggestions or feedback, feel free to reach out. Later on, I will also share the structured data behind this daily project, and you are welcome to use it.
