The biggest problem OpenAI faces today has never been that its technology is not advanced enough.

From the first day ChatGPT launched, Greg told the team: “Buy every GPU we can get.”

The model update last December already increased the share of tasks AI can complete from 20% to 80%.
That number is still growing at an astonishing speed.
All of OpenAI’s resources are now focused on two things:
building a stronger GPT foundation model, and building the “super app” that can unlock its full potential.
This super app is not a new chat box. It is your personal digital agent.
It will remember all your preferences, connect all your tools, and help you finish all the mechanical and repetitive work.
You only need to tell it your goal, and it will execute.
The scariest thing is not how smart AI has become, but that inside OpenAI, there is no complacency of “we won.”
Greg said the holiday party after ChatGPT launched was the moment he felt most afraid at OpenAI.
Everyone was immersed in the joy of victory. Only he clearly understood:
“We are always the underdog, and we can never stop running.”
