Do not keep thinking of AI as something that only writes copy or generates code. In physical industries, AI is already being used in far more creative ways.
For example, when the world-famous architecture firm Gensler designed Nvidia’s headquarters, it was not simply drawn by designers by hand. They applied that company’s AI technology back into architectural design. To help employees walk less, meet more, and communicate more, they used algorithms to calculate a triangular building structure.
It did not stop there. Even the placement of skylights was calculated by AI. By simulating the sun’s path throughout the day, they let light fall indoors in the most ideal way.
What does this tell us? When we talk about applying AI, our view should not be limited to screens. Optimization in the physical world, energy reduction, movement planning, and other invisible areas are where AI can show real power.
