You can try an all-purpose AI assistant, but do not hand over every permission

All-purpose AI assistants come with many risks. That does not mean you cannot touch them, because you cannot stop the technological wave. But how you use them matters a lot.

Some careful users set up a small independent machine to run locally, physically isolated from core business systems. That is a reasonable approach. With local compute, data does not leave the premises, so it is relatively safer. If you must use the cloud, do not use an exposed virtual machine. Find a service provider that has been hardened specifically for agent environments.

Most importantly, never use your main account. Register a new email and create a separate notes account for the AI. Give it a sandbox and let it work there. If something really breaks or gets injected, the loss is controllable. Do not immediately authorize access to bank accounts or core repositories. No matter how smart it is, it is still a child learning to walk, easy to fall and easy to be led astray by bad actors.
